The damage-notes tool
The form on the damage-notes page builds a text summary inside your browser. It is not sent to us or anyone else, is not saved on our servers, and disappears when you reload or leave the page. The download button saves a text file to your own device.
Hosting and security
The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes standard connection data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver and protect the site.
Visitor statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure page-load speed. It runs a small script from static.cloudflareinsights.com. Cloudflare says Web Analytics does not use cookies or browser storage and does not collect visitors’ personal data; see Cloudflare’s description.
We also use Google Analytics (Google Analytics 4) to collect aggregated usage statistics, such as pages visited and clicks on phone links. Google Analytics uses cookies. Google’s privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out with the browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Fonts
The site’s typeface is served from this site’s own domain, so no font requests go to third parties.
Phone calls
If you call the phone number shown on some pages, the call is handled by CallScaler, not by us. Like other call-tracking services, it can receive your phone number and call details such as time and duration, and may record calls; its own privacy policy applies (https://callscaler.com/privacy). We may receive reports showing that a call happened and how long it lasted, but we do not sell or share visitor information.
If you email us, we use your message only to reply or correct the site, and delete it when it is no longer needed.
